what feeds my soul: gratefulness

  • Morning check in - before the day gets away from you, ask yourself, what do I need today to FMS? It might be something for yourself and may be a kindness given to others.

  • Before bed - Some nights I make it a point to jot down something i am grateful for, its is powerful tool. A gratefulness app or journal might help.

  • Podcasts - books or videos that keep you curious, learning and expanding views on self and world, can help feed your soul and keep your mind open. My favorite podcast is “The Happiness Lab” with Yale professor Laurie Santos, who taught me the benefit of daily gratefulness and savoring!

  • Get into NATURE. I find it much easier to find perspective and FMS when I escape into nature. My favorite app to find hiking trails anywhere is All Trails.
